I use RB2B, a visitor identification service that matches website visitor IP addresses against a business contact database. This may result in me receiving your name, employer, job title, and LinkedIn profile URL based on your visit. If you want to opt out of RB2B's database, visit app.retention.com/optout.

6. How I Share Your Information

I do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be shared only in these limited circumstances:

More than 20 U.S. states now have comprehensive consumer privacy laws in effect, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others. 8. International Visitors

This site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection standards may differ from your country's laws.

EU, EEA, and United Kingdom

If you are located in the EU, EEA, or UK and your personal data is processed in connection with this site, you have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and the right to object. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.My legal basis for processing website visitor data is legitimate interest. For newsletter subscribers, processing is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. Canada

Newsletter communications comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You will only receive emails from me if you opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

9. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to two years.Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Your email is kept in a suppression list afterward to prevent accidental re-subscription.Analytics data is subject to Google Analytics and Factors.ai retention policies, typically 14 months for user-level data.Visitor identification data via RB2B is governed by RB2B's retention policy. Request deletion at app.retention.com/optout.

10. Security

I implement reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your personal information. This site is hosted on Squarespace, which maintains its own security infrastructure. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When I do, I will post the revised version here and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site before they take effect.
